WAVV is a user group promoting the interests of the users of the VSE, VM, and Linux operating systems. WAVV holds an annual conference consisting of over 100 educational sessions as well as a vendor show where vendors of VSE, VM, and Linux related products can show their wares and meet with current customers.
WAVV has a formal requirement process in place where users can submit enhancement requests against any VSE, VM, and Linux vendor product. These requests are submitted to the vendors and the response to each requirement is made available to the group.
WAVV was formed in 1995 as a spin-off of the former GUIDE user group. The first conference was held in October of 1995 in Winston Salem.
WAVV is run by a group of volunteers from companies through out the US and Canada. If you would like to be a part of that group, please contact any of the current members of the WAVV committee.
